Resolution Adopting San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex
Body
WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires local jurisdictions to update their Local Hazard Mitigation Plans every five years in order to be eligible for disaster mitigation and assistance funding; and
WHEREAS, the City has participated in the Association of Bay Area Governments program for updating of its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended approval of said Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex is hereby adopted.
