RESOLUTION Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Non-Professional Services Agreement with Flagship Facility Services, Inc. for Citywide Janitorial Services (authorizes an agreement in an amount not to exceed $543,272 from the Building Maintenance Fund)
Body
WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Proposals for Citywide janitorial services to which nine proposals were submitted; and
WHEREAS, Flagship Facility Services, Inc. submitted a proposal to the City of San Leandro (“City”) to provide Citywide janitorial services; and
WHEREAS, the City independently evaluated the nine proposals and scored them according to Completeness of Proposal, Technical Competence/Experience, Overall Cost, Operation Plan, and Financial Condition; and
WHEREAS, Flagship Facility Services, Inc. received the highest overall score.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the City Manager is authorized to execute a Non-Professional Services Agreement with Flagship Facility Services, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $543,272, for Citywide janitorial services; and
2. That an additional appropriation of $30,402 from fund balance to the Building Maintenance Fund is approved to cover the cost of this agreement.
