RESOLUTION Appointing Ed Shapiro as San Leandro Unified School District Member to Recreation and Parks Commission for Term Ending December 31, 2018
Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1-3-1105 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, one member of the Recreation and Parks Commission shall reside within the boundaries of the San Leandro Unified School District (SLUSD); and
WHEREAS, the governing board of the SLUSD shall submit the name of a nominee for appointment; and
WHEREAS, the SLUSD Board of Trustees nominated Ed Shapiro.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That Ed Shapiro is hereby appointed as SLUSD member to the Recreation and Parks Commission, his term to expire December 31, 2018.
