Resolution Declaring As Surplus Nine (9) Vehicles And One (1) Piece Of Heavy Equipment And Authorizing The Sale Thereof At Public Auction

WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City’s Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City purposes; and
WHEREAS, nine (9) vehicles and one (1) piece of heavy equipment have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and therefore should be declared surplus and sold at auction.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of nine (9) vehicles and one (1) piece of heavy equipment at public auction scheduled Saturday, January 28, 2012 is hereby noted.
